Cleatop Park Wood is a semi-natural woodland and local nature reserve near Settle, owned by the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority. It is a separate site from the adjoining Woodland Trust-owned Cleatop Wood; the similar names should not be taken to mean that they share the same facilities or management.
The local conservation project's visitor page describes an approach on foot along old lanes from Settle, with clear-weather views towards Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and the Long Preston wetlands. This is a countryside visit rather than an urban park with a guaranteed paved route.
Plan the approach and return on a current walking map, allow time for the walk from town and follow current access signs. Wear suitable footwear, keep gates as you find them and avoid disturbing conservation work or wildlife. Historical organised-walk dates on the project website are not a current events programme.
