About this place
Skipton Town Hall is North Yorkshire Council's culture and heritage venue on the High Street. It brings together Craven Museum, an exhibition gallery, visitor information and a gift shop, alongside performances, workshops and community events.
Museum and gallery visits have a different schedule from ticketed performances. The venue's own website gives the normal daytime opening pattern and a separate What's On programme for event dates, times and booking. Check current notices as well: the gallery can close during exhibition changeovers without the whole Town Hall being closed.
The venue describes a level entrance, lift access, hearing loop and accessible and Changing Places toilets. Its visit-planning page covers public transport and nearby parking; contact the team if you need help arranging access for a particular event.
